CV Sin
When writing a CV, remember the 10 don’t of CV writing.

  1. Put your irrelevant personal details first i.e. date of birth and nationality.
  2. Insert each salary
  3. It is not necessary to put reasons for leaving.
  4. Include negative or irrelevant information.
  5. We can all expand the truth, but do not lie!
  6. Use Reverse Chronological format.
  7. List every employer if you have been working since the seventies.
  8. Allocate the same space to all positions, prioritise the content.
  9. Modify your CV for every application unless you have a foolproof method of remembering to whom you sent which edition.
  10. Put education first if its 10 years out of date.
